    Description

    The Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of strategic AHFC initiatives across business and technology organizations. This role drives project planning, stakeholder management, governance, financial oversight, risk management, and execution while ensuring alignment with AHFC business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology roadmaps.

    The Project Manager works closely with Honda business teams, IT leadership, vendors, architects, business analysts, development teams, QA teams, and third-party partners to deliver successful outcomes using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

    Project Planning & Delivery

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Lead project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
    • Manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
    • Coordinate implementation planning, release readiness, cutover, and post-production support activities.
    • Track project dependencies and critical path activities.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Serve as the primary liaison between AHFC business teams, IT teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
    • Facilitate planning sessions, steering committee meetings, project reviews, and status meetings.
    • Communicate project progress, risks, issues, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
    • Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

    Governance & Reporting

    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive-level status reports.
    • Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
    • Track project KPIs, milestones, financials, and resource utilization.
    • Support governance forums, QBRs, SLT reviews, and executive presentations.
    • Ensure adherence to AHFC project governance standards and PMO processes.

    Financial & Resource Management

    • Manage project budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analysis.
    • Coordinate business, internal IT, and external vendor funding requirements.
    • Provide resource planning, onboarding support, and utilization tracking.
    • Optimize resource allocation across delivery teams.
    • Utilize enterprise portfolio management tools such as Clarity and related AHFC financial tracking systems.

    Risk, Compliance & Audit Management

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
    • Support SOX, audit, and compliance initiatives.
    • Coordinate with security, risk, compliance, and governance teams.
    • Ensure project controls and documentation meet regulatory and organizational standards.
    • Support risk assessment and audit readiness activities.

    Preferred AHFC Domain Experience (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

    • Dealer Financial Systems (DFS)
    • Compliance, SOX, Audit, and Risk Management
