Senior Project Manager Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee DER Solar projects from initiation through execution and closeout. This role requires strong project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and accountability for successful project delivery.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
Lead project scope, schedule, budget, safety, risk, and performance management.
Oversee engineering, estimating, construction, scheduling, cost, contracting, and operations activities.
Coordinate with developers, customers, and internal and external stakeholders.
Identify project deviations and implement effective recovery plans.
Escalate critical issues and proactively drive project commitments to completion.
Ensure successful project execution and closeout.
Senior Project Manager Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Educational background in business, project management, or engineering.
Preferred:
Experience managing solar energy or distributed energy resource (DER) projects.
Familiarity with construction and engineering project lifecycles.
