This is an onsite position.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & CommunicationLead coordination between BE&K field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain alignment with the project scheduleRepresent BE&K professionally with owners, architects, consultants, government authorities, and trade partnersBudget ManagementDevelop detailed cost-to-complete forecasts and identify potential financial exposuresEnsure accurate tracking of field directives and back chargesAnalyze unit price contracts and maintain budget update schedulesTrain project teams on standard operating procedures for budget managementChange Order OversightMonitor and track all proposed change orders (PCOs), both in-scope and out-of-scopeProvide owners with timely updates on change order statusEnsure monthly submission of Owner Change Orders (OCOs)Recover legitimate GC costs and manage contract allowances proactivelyProject Close-OutEstablish and execute a comprehensive close-out plan early in the project lifecycleOrganize and manage completion phases using the Work List SystemTrain field staff on close-out procedures and documentationOwner & Subcontractor Requisition ProcessEnsure timely approval of monthly pay requisitions by the ownerDevelop and maintain an effective Schedule of ValuesImplement a structured payment collection and subcontractor payment processCash Flow ManagementMaintain fiscal responsibility throughout the project lifecycleReview subcontractor schedules of values to prevent overpaymentMonitor requisitions for compliance with change order approvalsUpdate and present cash flow models to ownersMeeting & Log ManagementEstablish regular project meetings for effective communication and issue resolutionMaintain and review project logs (e.g., change management, procurement, RFIs, safety, schedule)Conduct monthly focus meetings to identify and address potential risksSubcontractor RelationsFoster professional, organized relationships with subcontractorsAddress performance issues promptly to mitigate project delaysSchedule ManagementCollaborate with superintendents to develop and maintain baseline schedulesTrack schedule impacts and lead efforts to prevent non-excusable delaysProvide monthly schedule updates and narratives to ownersSupport procurement scheduling and coordinationRisk ManagementComplete buy-out processes efficiently to support timely project executionIssue timely notices to owners and subcontractors regarding risksLead submittal and coordination efforts within the first 180 daysTrain project teams on risk mitigation strategiesOwner Relations & Quality ManagementBuild trust and maintain transparency with owners throughout the projectImplement the Quality Management Program, including mock-ups and benchmark inspectionsAim to secure strong owner references and satisfactionTeam Leadership & DevelopmentPromote a collaborative, high-performance team cultureSet clear expectations and lead by exampleOrganize team-building events and training sessionsAddress interpersonal conflicts promptly and constructivelyMentorship & TrainingOversee staff development and career progressionProvide ongoing coaching and support to project team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)10+ years of commercial construction project management experienceExperience with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) projects is a strong plusProven ability to achieve profitability goals and maintain strong client/subcontractor relationshipsStrong command of contract terms, legal provisions, and construction documentationHigh initiative and problem-solving ability in complex project environmentsExcellent communication and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated leadership aligned with BE&K Core Values: Integrity ~ Teamwork ~ Respect ~ Discipline ~ Accountability ~ Social ResponsibilityPhysical RequirementsAbility to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materialsComfortable working in varying weather conditionsCapable of standing and walking for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsEqual Employment Opportunity StatementBE&K Building Group is an equal opportunity employer.
