Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical

West Des Moines has grown into one of the country's most active data center markets, with multi-building campuses still taking shape on the west side of the metro. A well-established general contractor is looking for a Senior Project Manager – Mission Critical to lead some of that work. What You'll Do

• Lead large data center and mission-critical projects from early planning and buyout through Level 5 commissioning and closeout
• Manage overall project financials, including budgets, forecasting, change management and owner billing
• Serve as the main point of contact for owners, design teams and key electrical and mechanical trade partners
• Build and drive schedules for phased work on live, operating campuses
• Partner with field leadership on safety, quality and logistics
• Mentor project managers, assistant project managers and project engineers

What You Bring

• Senior-level project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical projects (required)
• Deep understanding of critical power, cooling, MEP coordination and commissioning
• A track record of delivering large projects on time and on budget
• A friendly, steady leadership style that builds trust with owners and teams
• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
