Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical

Boone County, just northwest of Indianapolis, is home to one of the largest hyperscale data center builds in the country, and the work around it keeps growing. A respected general contractor is looking for a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on mission-critical projects here. If you like running big, technical jobs with a team that has your back, this is a great place to land.

What You'll Do

• Own large data center projects from preconstruction and buyout through commissioning and turnover

• Set the plan for budgets, schedules, cash flow, forecasting and owner reporting

• Build strong relationships with owners, engineers, design partners and key trade partners

• Drive procurement of long-lead critical power and cooling equipment, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems and chillers

• Work side by side with field leadership on safety, quality, phasing and integrated systems testing

• Mentor project managers, assistant project managers and project engineers

What You Bring

• Senior project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical construction (required)

• A track record of delivering large, fast-track projects on schedule and on budget

• Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, MEP coordination and Level 1–5 commissioning

• Confident, approachable leadership and clear communication with owners and crews alike

• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
