Senior Project Manager - Light Industrial

Our client is a highly respected Midwest construction firm with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across a range of commercial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth in the industrial market, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale light industrial projects throughout the Chicagoland area.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage light industrial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Prepare regular project reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Manage and mentor project team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience with project management in the light industrial construction sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Experience with risk assessment and problem-solving in construction projects.
