Senior Project Manager, Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Hybrid | Pasadena
We are seeking a Senior Project Managerto lead enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) upgrades, migrations, integrations, and implementations. This role partners closely with Training Development, Technology, business stakeholders, and vendors to drive projects from planning through deployment and transition to support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional LMS projects impacting 500+ end users.
  • Develop project plans, manage schedules, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to define requirements, scope, deliverables, and ROI.
  • Coordinate testing, change management, communications, training, and go-live activities.
  • Manage vendors and provide project status updates to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Support transition to operations and post-implementation value tracking.
  • Partner with sponsors, business owners, analysts, and SMEs to define scope, business case, ROI, resources, and vendor deliverables.
  • Leverage LMS and integration expertise to document project scope, goals, value, resources, vendor services, deliverables, and change management requirements.
  • Utilize Smartsheet, Box, Google Workspace, Zoom, Lucidchart, PowerPoint, Jira, and other collaboration tools.
  • Partner with IT QA to develop comprehensive test plans and ensure quality system delivery.
  • Apply project management best practices for scope, risks, issues, decisions, schedules, status, stakeholders, and communications.
  • Coordinate resources to translate business requirements into FRS, TDD, and Technical Specifications, maintaining traceability to system configuration.
  • Conduct project health assessments and lessons learned as directed by the PMO and project sponsors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5 7 years of senior/lead project management experience.
  • Experience with LMS implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • Saba or Docebo experience preferred.
  • PMP preferred; Prince2 considered.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and Jira.
  • Familiarity with PROSCI/ADKAR or other change management frameworks.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, or related field.
