Job Description

Lead the overall execution of ground-up and complex renovation projects valued between $30M and $200M+. Provide leadership and oversight to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams. Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, contract administration, and financial performance. Ensure project schedules are maintained while proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. Support preconstruction efforts including scope development, procurement planning, and project strategy. Drive project team performance through mentorship, coaching, and professional development. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Coordinate multiple stakeholders across office and field operations to achieve project goals. Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout the construction lifecycle. Support the successful launch and execution of upcoming high-profile projects across the DMV market.

The Successful Applicant

10+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor. Demonstrated success managing large-scale commercial construction projects valued at $30M+. Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project reporting. Experience leading project teams and mentoring developing construction professionals. Proven ability to manage client relationships and successfully navigate complex project challenges. Experience with ground-up construction projects strongly preferred. Background in education, healthcare, public sector, science & technology, multifamily, hospitality, office, industrial, or other large commercial projects. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, contract management, procurement, and risk mitigation. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
