Industrial Construction Project Manager

Our client is a privately owned design-build general contractor specializing in industrial and commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Manage industrial construction projects from kickoff through final turnover.
• Lead ground-up warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, and self-storage developments valued up to $20M.
• Oversee tenant improvement, retrofit, and facility expansion projects ranging from approximately $500K to $2.5M.
• Coordinate project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project financial performance, cost controls, forecasting, and reporting.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers while supporting project delivery across multiple assignments.
• Maintain strong client relationships and help generate repeat business opportunities through successful project execution.
• Simultaneously oversee large-scale industrial developments while managing multiple smaller fit-out and renovation projects.

The Successful Candidate

• 10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably within industrial construction environments.
• Demonstrated success managing ground-up warehouse and distribution center projects from groundbreaking through completion.
• Experience with manufacturing, logistics, cold storage, self-storage, industrial, or distribution facility construction.
• Exposure to tilt-wall and/or precast construction methodologies is highly preferred.
• Design-build project experience preferred.
• Ability to manage complex projects while balancing multiple concurrent assignments.
• Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, contract administration, and financial management skills.
• Client-focused professional capable of building long-term relationships with developers, owners, and key stakeholders.
