    Senior CMC Proposal Specialist

    Job Summary:

    This position is designed for bilingual (English and Chinese) professionals with an M.S. or Ph.D. degree who possess strong scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The location for this position will be in the US and work remotely from home.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary author of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) proposals for WuXi Biologics clients.
    • Collaborate with Business Development (BD), U.S.-based CMC teams, and functional teams in China to define project scope, develop technical solutions, and prepare client proposals.
    • Coordinate and drive the quotation and proposal development process across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely completion of reviews, approvals, and proposal submissions.
    • Maintain and enhance proposal templates by gathering stakeholder feedback, aligning cross-functional requirements, and incorporating evolving business needs and best practices.
    • Continuously improve proposal content and design through market insights, customer feedback, and emerging technology trends; support the development of new service offerings, proposal packages, and standardized solutions.
    • Identify workflow bottlenecks and drive process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency, proposal quality, and turnaround time.
    • Analyze proposal, pricing, and business data to identify trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master/Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Biology/Chemistry or related fields.
    • Overall understanding of CMC process
    • Stable working permit in the US
    • Self-starter, self-motivated, highly flexible with the dynamic project activities and international work time zones
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight timelines.
    • Excellent scientific writing skill
    • Fluent in Chinese and English in writing, reading, and speaking.
