Senior Project Manager

Our client has been a leader in the Chicago General Contractor space for about 50 years now and is looking to bring on an interiors Senior Project Manager to assist them in their growth! Bringing in about $500 Million in annual revenue they are known for delivering high-quality hospitality, commercial, multifamily, and healthcare projects, and have a strong reputation in the market.

Job Description

Glimpse of your role:

  • Manage all phases of commercial and hospitality construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
  • Meet weekly and communicate daily with construction staff
  • Assess project progress, schedule, changes, and deliveries
  • Ensure safety at all times
  • Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ of previous experience working with a General Contractor
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Experience in hospitality construction (ground-up) is a must
  • Experience working with software and technology
  • Strong Communication and Organization Skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Up to date on the Construction Market and the newest technology
