With strong leadership, long-term stability, and a pipeline of exciting new opportunities, this is an ideal environment for someone looking to advance their career and contribute to a company that is shaping the future of Ohio's built environment.Job DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:Leading and overseeing all phases of construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient allocation and utilization.Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.Conducting regular site visits to assess project progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety standards.Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.Mentoring and providing guidance to junior project managers and construction staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Facilitating effective communication among project teams, clients, and other relevant parties to ensure alignment and address any concerns.Monitoring and enforcing quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and materials.Implementing and maintaining project documentation, including plans, contracts, change orders, and progress reports.Coordinating with property management teams to ensure smooth transition from construction to occupancy.Leading project closeout activities, including client/owner walk throughs.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
