The Opportunity
This is more than a senior construction management position. It is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional to develop into a future leader of the organization.
Joining in a successor-in-training capacity, you’ll work closely with established executive leadership while taking increasing ownership of strategic planning, financial performance, team leadership, client relationships, and the successful delivery of major construction programs.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Lead and oversee complex, multimillion-dollar construction programs
Manage projects across the full lifecycle, from planning through completion
Develop and mentor construction management professionals

What You’ll Do
Construction & Program Leadership
Provide leadership and oversight across multiple construction projects and programs
Guide projects from preconstruction and planning through execution, closeout, and turnover
Maintain accountability for schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations
Identify project risks early and drive practical solutions before they affect delivery
Support teams managing complex institutional and K–12 construction environments
Financial & Strategic Oversight
Provide financial oversight for multimillion-dollar project portfolios
Monitor budgets, forecasts, project performance, and overall financial health
Participate in strategic planning alongside senior leadership
Help develop scalable processes and operating practices that support the organization's long-term growth
Balance project-level execution with broader business priorities
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop construction management professionals
Establish clear expectations and accountability while maintaining a collaborative leadership style
Help team members strengthen their technical, operational, and leadership capabilities
Promote a culture of ownership, respect, continuous improvement, and professional development
Client Relationship Management
Build trusted, long-term relationships with owners and key project stakeholders
Serve as a senior point of contact on important programs and client engagements
Understand client priorities and ensure project teams consistently deliver against them
Protect and strengthen the organization's reputation for integrity, responsiveness, and quality
Executive Leadership Development
Work closely with seasoned executive leadership to understand the broader operation of the business
Develop deeper capabilities in strategic planning, financial management, people leadership, and client development
Assume increasing responsibility as you demonstrate readiness
Prepare to play a significant role in the organization's next generation of leadership
You’d Be a Great Fit If You Have
7+ years of construction management or closely related industry experience
Demonstrated expertise overseeing construction projects and teams
Experience managing significant project budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships
Exposure to Procore or comparable construction management platforms
Working knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6
A BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities
The ability to move comfortably between detailed project execution and higher-level business decisions
A collaborative leadership style and genuine interest in developing others
The ambition and capability to grow into broader organizational leadership
Bonus Points For
Experience managing K–12, education, municipal, or other institutional construction projects
Experience working directly with school districts or public-sector owners
Responsibility for multiple simultaneous projects or large construction programs
Financial or operational leadership beyond individual project management
Experience mentoring project managers, construction managers, or other emerging leaders
A track record of developing lasting owner and client relationships
