Senior Project Manager ERP Transformation (Oracle Fusion)
Location: Portland, OR onsite 5 days a week (local candidates only; no relocation)
Engagement: Contract (W2), 12 months to start, extendable up to 5 years
Experience: 10+ years of project management, leading large-scale ERP implementations and migrations
Work authorization: All work authorizations except OPT/CPT (W2 only, no C2C)
About the role
Our client, a major utility based in Portland, Oregon, is modernizing its enterprise systems. We need a hands-on Senior Project Manager to lead large ERP implementations ($100M+), migrations and transformation programs centered on Oracle Fusion Cloud across Finance, HCM, Supply Chain (SCM) and EPM.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide ERP implementations, migrations and modernization projects within scope, schedule and budget.
- Oversee Oracle Fusion Cloud initiatives across Financials, HCM, SCM and EPM.
- Manage integrations and migrations from legacy ERP platforms, including SAP, Workday and other enterprise systems.
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors and system integrators (SIs).
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Build and maintain project plans, milestones and executive status reporting in Azure DevOps and Primavera P6.
- Oversee testing, deployment, go-live readiness and transition to operations.
- Partner with business and technical leadership to keep projects aligned with organizational goals.
Required
- 10+ years of project management leading large-scale ERP implementations, migrations and enterprise transformations.
- 3+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud experience (Financials, HCM, SCM, EPM).
- Experience with SAP, Workday or other enterprise ERP platforms and cross-system integrations.
- Strong project financial management: multimillion-dollar budgets, system integrator oversight and vendor coordination.
- Azure DevOps and Primavera P6 for planning and tracking.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
- Lives in the Portland, OR area and can work onsite 5 days a week.
Preferred
- Utilities industry experience.
- Directly managed an IBM Maximo to Oracle Fusion integration or migration (priority).
- PMP certification.
