Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a enterprise organization within the technology-driven services industry. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the CIO's right-hand partner, helping to align IT initiatives, processes, and delivery across multiple business functions. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite and is ideal for a highly motivated, high‑EQ leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and takes strong ownership of outcomes.
Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
Act as a strategic partner to the CIO, helping connect and drive IT initiatives, priorities, and operating processes
Lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional programs spanning multiple business units and stakeholders
Ensure alignment between technology roadmaps, business objectives, and enterprise priorities
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps across initiatives and drive resolution
Establish and refine program governance, reporting, and communication frameworks
Partner with IT, product, and business leaders to improve execution, transparency, and delivery outcomes
Take initiative in identifying process improvements and driving organizational change
Qualifications of the Senior Project Manager:
6+ years of experience in program and/or product management within complex enterprise environments
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives across IT and business teams
Strong executive presence with the ability to partner closely with senior leadership
High emotional intelligence (EQ) with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, operate independently, and drive results in ambiguous environments
Experience improving processes, governance, and operating models within IT organizations
Hybrid availability with the ability to be onsite three days per week
Compensation for the Senior Project Manager includes:
Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 with bonus and LTIP plans

Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
