Senior Project Manager

You will lead and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations in Daytons business services sector.

Description

• Lead the full lifecycle of industrial and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation to identify potential issues and opportunities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project correspondence.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays, conflicts, and schedule risks.
• Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.
• Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard.
• Drive project closeout, punch lists, turnover, and final documentation.

Profile

• Project Management experience within commercial and industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong subcontractor and vendor management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with construction project management software such as Procore or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
