The strongest candidates will have recent ground-up retail construction experience, with grocery, big box retail, or closely related commercial project experience especially valuable.

Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple active projects and balancing competing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, clients, and internal priorities.

Candidates whose experience is primarily residential, multifamily, owner-side, developer-side, consulting, subcontractor-only, or specialty construction are unlikely to align unless they also have substantial recent commercial GC project management experience.
