Job Description

Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. Lead project teams including Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants. Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, change orders, and performance. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Identify and mitigate project risks, schedule issues, and potential cost impacts. Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reporting and forecasting. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Drive quality, safety, schedule adherence, and successful project closeout.

The Successful Applicant

Experience managing ground-up and/or major renovation projects. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and financial performance. Strong subcontractor and vendor management skills. Ability to develop and maintain client, architect, and consultant relationships. Strong knowledge of construction documents, contracts, plans, and specifications. Proficiency with construction project management software such as Procore. Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
