Senior Project ManagerLead the successful execution of commercial, civic, institutional, and private-sector construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Manage project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and client stakeholders. Provide mentorship and leadership to developing project management staff. Drive project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and financial performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and local industry partners. Support business development efforts through networking, industry engagement, and community involvement. Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams to pursue and secure new work. Help establish operational processes and best practices that support continued market growth. Serve as a trusted leadership partner in scaling an expanding Charlotte-area operation. Transition over time into broader operational leadership responsibilities with potential advancement to Director of Operations.Must-Have Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or similar leadership role within commercial construction. Strong background managing ground-up and/or renovation construction projects. Experience overseeing project financials, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor Project Managers and other construction professionals. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills. Strong operational mindset with the ability to balance project execution and business objectives. High level of professionalism, integrity, and cultural alignment with a collaborative organization.Preferred Experience: Established relationships within the Charlotte, North Carolina construction market. Experience delivering public-sector, municipal, education, healthcare, civic, detention, or commercial projects. Track record supporting office growth, business development, or market expansion initiatives.
