LOCATION: Camp Lejeune, NC; Camp Pendleton, CA; 29 Palms, CA; Marine Corps Base K-Bay; HI

JOB STATUS: Full-time

CLEARANCE:

CERTIFICATION: PMP (preferred)

TRAVEL: As Needed

SALARY RANGE: $135k - $247k (based on geographic location, experience, and other factors)

 

 

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager located in/near one of the above locations. The Senior Project Manager will manage UAS projects either on-site or off-site within CONUS, ensuring compliance with PMA-263 requirements and effective coordination with Government stakeholders and OEMs. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to successfully deliver project outcomes.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Minimum 10 years of UAS project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or an additional eight (8) years of job-related experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Government technical experts and OEM representatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • PMP or other project management certification
  • Prior experience managing geographically dispersed teams
  • Familiarity with military UAS programs and lifecycle management

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, manage, and execute UAS projects in accordance with PMA-263 requirements
  • Collaborate with Government technical experts and OEM representatives to achieve project objectives
  • Monitor project cost, schedule, and deliverables
  • Provide regular updates and reports to program leadership
  •  Ensure quality assurance and compliance with contract requirements
