Backlog & Issue Management: Establish and maintain a single authoritative backlog of benefits issues, tracking business impact, severity, integration dependencies, accountable owners, and closure criteria.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead issue-triage and working sessions across technical, functional, payroll, finance, and vendor workstreams. Establish clear roles, secure accountable owners, and ensure teams remain focused on resolution outcomes.
Investigation & Troubleshooting: Coordinate deep-dive investigations into source data, Workday configurations, integration logic, transaction timing, and business-process causes.
Dependency & Risk Mitigation: Manage dependencies across related integrations to prevent conflicting corrections. Track risks, overdue actions, and resource constraints, escalating promptly when necessary.
Testing & Release Management: Coordinate test planning, regression testing, vendor validation, and business acceptance. Manage release-readiness activities from non-production environments through to production deployment.
Reconciliation & Compliance: Ensure corrected integrations reconcile to Workday payroll/benefits results and that affected financial transactions and employee data are fully remediated.
Executive Reporting & Documentation: Provide concise executive updates on issue aging, financial exposure, blocked decisions, and resolution trends. Maintain clear, centralized documentation of meeting decisions, open questions, and assigned actions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 3+ years of recent, progressively responsible project management experience.
Certification Eligibility: Must meet the eligibility requirements to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience Level: 6+ years of related PM experience coordinating and supporting complex business processes.
ERP/HCM Expertise: Proven track record implementing or stabilizing ERP systems, particularly Human Capital Management (HCM) administration.
Industry Background: Prior experience implementing business processes within a government or public sector organization.
Methodology & Tools: Strong background in structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Hands-on expertise with project management tools such as Asana, MS Project, or Jira.
Certifications: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
