    Description

    Responsibilities

    1. Oversee multiple complex projects ensuring successful outcomes.
    2. Ensure smooth handover to customer service and the external customer with clearly defined and agreed-upon actions for project close-out.
    3. Conduct detailed project assessments, collect lessons learned, and prepare final close-out reports.
    4. Manage project risks and opportunities, including risk mitigation strategies and actions with appropriate risk owners.
    5. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, placing remarkable emphasis on customer needs and consistently achieving desired outcomes.
    6. Develop comprehensive project schedules for engineering installation and integration tasks.
    7. Lead cross-functional teams within a matrixed global organization, applying influence to ensure risk mitigation for scope, cost, and schedule.

    Requirements

    1. Education

      • Bachelors degree or Masters in Engineering (MBA preferred).
    2. Experience

      • Minimum 8 years with a Bachelors degree or 6 years with a Masters degree in project management.
      • Proven track record managing projects in the material handling, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), or automotive industry is required.
    3. Skills

      • Advanced project management and leadership abilities.
      • Proven problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
      • Understanding of equipment subsystem and system performance criteria and the constraints associated with material handling systems.
      • Knowledge of WMS and WCS integration controls architectures and functionality of controls domains.
      • Strong financial acumen, risk management expertise, and familiarity with supply chain processes.
    4. Preferred Knowledge

      • Understanding of IATF 16949 requirements.
      • Mastery of Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
    5. Certifications

      • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent advanced certifications preferred.
    6. Language

      • Proficiency in English and Mandarin; additional language skills beneficial.
