Managing overall engineering design efforts for Design-Only and EPC projects to optimize safety, schedule, and profitability.
Leading and mentoring a team of multi-discipline professionals to ensure project success.
Managing the implementation of the Quality Program for engineering designs.
Preparing and managing the final engineering labor-hour budgets.
Partnering with a projects controls team to manage the engineering design schedule, budget, and progress measurement function.
Preparing, submitting, and managing client change orders.
Presenting designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, etc.
Corresponding and/or meeting with clients, contractors, and vendors.
Leading project proposal efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program and licensure as a Professional Engineering (PE).
Seven (7) years of substation engineering experience, consulting preferred. Master of Science degree in electrical engineering may be substituted for one (1) year experience.
Excellent knowledge in degreed discipline and basic knowledge other industry related disciplines.
