    About the Role:
    We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our widely respected and growing Aviation Division in Saratoga Springs, NY.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support and lead airport design and improvement projects from planning through construction.

    • Prepare and review plans, specifications, and contract documents for aviation infrastructure projects.

    • Assist with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

    • Provide technical design support and independent production of engineering documents.

    • Support construction administration, including site visits and coordination with contractors.

    • Ensure designs comply with FAA Advisory Circulars and airport design standards.

    • Presenting at meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.

    • Delivering high quality products and superior client service.

    • Maintaining and growing MJ's client base in New York and the Mid-Atlantic

    • Actively participating in industry organizations and events

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

    • PE Required.

    • 6+ years of airport design and/or aviation construction experience in private industry or government.

    • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD

    • Business Development and/or Project Management experience a plus, but not required.

    • Project Management experience a plus, but not required.

    • Experience with construction administration and project delivery.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent organization and attention to detail.

    • Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team, develop and maintain client relations, and meet project demands and schedules.

    • Must be eligible for security badge clearance (SIDA) at US airports; pass a background check

    • Compensation: Starting at $65.00 per hour, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location.
