Job Description:
Seeking a highly data-driven Senior Project Controls Specialist to support project cost, schedule, invoicing, earned field progress, and management reporting. This role will focus on transforming large project datasets into accurate, auditable, and actionable reports and dashboards for Project Controls, PMO, and site leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and reconcile project cost, schedule, invoice, and earned-progress data.
• Review invoices, cost codes, work packages, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Extract, clean, combine, validate, and reconcile data from multiple project-control systems.
• Identify cost/schedule variances, anomalies, forecast changes, progress trends, and reconciliation gaps.
• Analyze SPI/LPI, milestones, dependencies, float, critical/near-critical activities, and planned vs. earned progress.
• Support schedule reporting and data exports using Oracle Primavera Cloud or similar scheduling tools.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, advanced Excel models, and management reports.
• Perform data-quality checks and ensure reporting is accurate, traceable, and auditable.
• Support reporting automation and process improvements using analytics, automation, and AI tools where appropriate.
• Partner with Project Controls, Cost, Scheduling, Finance, Procurement, and project teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong Project Controls experience supporting construction, engineering, or capital projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Strong data analysis, data mining, reconciliation, and visualization skills.
• Experience with project cost, schedule, invoicing, earned progress, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), or similar scheduling platforms.
• Understanding of integrated schedules, milestones, dependencies, float, critical path, and work packages.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, EPC, or other regulated/large capital-project experience.
• Experience with SQL, Power Query, VBA, reporting automation, or AI-based analytics.
• Experience developing executive-level Project Controls dashboards and reports.
