Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist with 5+ years of experience in medical device or regulated industries, with strong skills in project controls, cost, scheduling, data analysis, Power BI, Excel, and Oracle Primavera Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Support invoice review, validation, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Analyze cost, schedule, earned progress, and project data.
- Extract, clean, combine, and validate data from multiple project-control sources.
- Identify data gaps, anomalies, trends, and reconciliation issues.
- Support project controls reporting, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Generate schedule data and reporting using Oracle Primavera Cloud or similar tools.
- Analyze milestones, dependencies, float, and planned vs. earned progress.
- Perform quality checks to ensure reports reconcile with source data.
- Document data sources, calculations, business rules, and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with Project Controls, Scheduling, Cost, Finance, Procurement, PMO, and site teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project controls, cost, schedule, progress, or project data analysis.
- Strong analytical and data-mining skills.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Understanding of construction/project scheduling and earned progress.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience working across multiple project management platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, trends, and data-quality issues.
