    Description

    Required Qualifications — Education

    • Master's degree in business, construction management, technical, or engineering, or a related field, plus five (5) years of practical experience in project controls, including both cost and schedule control or related areas; OR
    • Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, technical, or engineering, or a related field, plus seven (7) years of practical experience in project controls, including both cost and schedule control or related areas; OR
    • Associate's degree in business, construction management, technical, or engineering, or a related field, plus eleven (11) years of practical experience in project controls, including both cost and schedule control or related areas; OR
    • High school diploma plus fifteen (15) years of practical experience in project controls, including both cost and schedule control or related areas.

    Required Experience & Skills

    • Demonstrated ability and knowledge in developing cost and schedule baselines, milestone schedules, work breakdown structures, and spend-out plans that establish optimum conditions and effective utilization of resources and facilities, including equipment, manpower, and funding.
    • Strong knowledge of DOE 413 and Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements.
    • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software and cost processing software (Cobra preferred).
    • Ability to use advanced functions and features of the Microsoft Office software suite.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to walk down and interface with personnel and systems in the field, as required.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Acumen Fuse, PeopleSoft, and Oracle's OBIEE.

    Security Access

    Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not required at the time of hire; the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments.
