What You"ll Do

• Lead the design and technical execution of healthcare and complex commercial projects from concept through construction.
• Partner directly with clients to understand goals, solve challenges, and deliver innovative design solutions.
• Translate design intent into coordinated, buildable construction documents.
• Oversee project documentation, quality control, and technical accuracy throughout all phases.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
• Help drive project success by managing schedules, deliverables, and team workflows.
• Participate in client presentations, proposals, and business development efforts.

What We"re Looking For

• Licensed Architect (required)
• 8+ years of architectural experience with progressive project leadership responsibilities
• Strong experience leading projects from schematic design through construction administration
• Healthcare project experience preferred; experience with other large-scale, complex projects will also be considered
• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Experience producing and coordinating construction documents
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing, and construction processes
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling software is a plus
• LEED accreditation or sustainability experience is a bonus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
