DELV's place-based practice unites creative, human-centered design with a pragmatic and collaborative spirit, crafting authentic contemporary spaces anchored in community and context. Our approach is built on a shared purpose: enriching our communities through thoughtful design. Our process is deliberately divergent and iterative, balancing opportunities and constraints with optimism. We are research-based and relationship-driven. We respect cultural, environmental, and economic forces in the pursuit of quality and meaningful solutions that endure. We foster connections through thoughtful engagement to guide our clients through transformational work.
As a senior project architect focusing on adaptive re-use and preservation, you will lead projects and design teams to most effectively renovate, rehabilitate, and preserve older and/or historic buildings for new uses. You'll also help the firm pursue additional clients and expand this area of design expertise. Working alongside a collaborative design team, you will lead projects through all phases of due diligence/assessments, design, approvals and permitting, construction administration, and closeout. Mentoring younger staff assigned to these project types will be critical to the success of the firm's projects in these areas and to the growth of our team members as architects and designers
Salary within this range will reflect experience, qualifications, and demonstrated project leadership. DELV offers a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; paid family leave; generous PTO; and a culture you can't find anywhere else.
