Role Title - Senior Data Program Manager

Location - Mumbai (Preferred)

Experience

15+ years overall experience with at least 8+ years managing large-scale Data & Analytics programs.

Role Purpose

Lead and govern strategic Data & Analytics programs for Prudential Health Insurance (PHI), ensuring delivery excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, quality compliance, and effective program governance across multiple workstreams. The role will act as the single point of accountability for program execution, customer engagement, risk management, reporting, and delivery assurance.

Program Governance & Delivery Management

• Drive end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics initiatives across multiple teams and vendors.
• Establish strong governance mechanisms including Steering Committees, Weekly Governance Reviews, RAID management, and executive reporting.
• Track program health, milestones, dependencies, financials, risks, and quality metrics.
• Ensure delivery commitments are met on schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary interface for PHI leadership and business stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with customer executives and delivery teams.
• Drive issue resolution and manage escalations proactively.
• Lead executive-level discussions, status reviews, and strategic planning sessions.

Quality & Process Excellence

• Improve delivery quality through governance reviews, quality gates, and best practices.
• Implement metrics-driven monitoring for defects, rework, delivery slippage, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with Agile and enterprise delivery standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams.

Jira, Agile & Project Management Excellence

• Establish Jira governance and reporting standards.
• Ensure sprint planning, backlog management, estimation, velocity tracking, and release planning are effectively managed.
• Develop transparent dashboards and reporting for customer and leadership reviews.
• Monitor and improve Agile maturity across teams.

RAID & Escalation Management

• Own Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) management.
• Identify early warning signals and drive mitigation plans.
• Ensure closure of customer concerns and action items within agreed timelines.

Data & Analytics Program Leadership

• Manage Data Engineering, Reporting, Visualization, Cloud Data Platform, and Analytics initiatives.
• Coordinate across business, technology, data architects, engineering, QA, DevOps, and operations teams.
• Ensure successful delivery of data modernization and transformation initiatives.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage program budget, forecasts, utilization, and financial performance.
• Plan capacity and resource requirements.
• Optimize offshore-onsite delivery model while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
