Starting at $68,000 $75,000 contingent upon experience, education, etc.
Department Overview: TASCs Center for Health and Justice (CHJ) provides Technical Assistance (TA) with communities, governments, and organizations to address complex public health and public safety challenges through evidence- and practice-based strategies and cross-system collaboration. Our work is informed by decades of practice and grounded in the belief that the right intervention, delivered at the right time, can change outcomes for individuals, communities, and systems alike.
CHJ builds on TASCs legacy of leadership at the intersection of health and justice, translating frontline experience into scalable solutions that support reform and accountability.
Position Summary: The Senior Program Manager for Special Projects supports the development and implementation of a portfolio of consulting, training, and technical assistance (TTA) initiatives across CHJs three departments (Health, Justice, and Special Projects)including Deflection, Diversion, Implementation, Medicaid for Justice Populations, Health & Justice Initiatives, International, and Research & Evaluation. This role blends subject-matter expertise in public-safetytocommunity behavioral health linkages with strong project management, administrative, and development responsibilities.
The Senior Program Manager independently manages complex projects, provides high-quality consulting and TTA, develops training content and deliverables, and coordinates with internal and external partners to advance CHJs mission. This position also supports CHJs strategic growth through proposal development, stakeholder engagement, and identification of new business opportunities. The Senior Program Manager will work on multiple projects that run on parallel timelines. The projects could be both topical and administrative, as well as developmental.
This position requires the ability to travel, including out-of-state and overnight, to provide onsite TTA and education throughout the United States. Travel will also include evening/weekend hours. This position is eligible for remote work outside of Illinois.
