Senior Program Manager

Location: Oakland, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid minimum every other week Tuesday through Thursday on-site; some periods may require on-site Tuesday through Thursday each week; Mondays and Fridays are almost always remote

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $95.00 $100.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Travel Requirements: Travel may be required.

Job Summary

The Senior Program Manager completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions, plan and goals. Works independently on most issues. Provides direction on overall program plan and goals. Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan. Communicates findings and recommendations to various levels of management. Develops budget forecasts, conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address. Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insight.

  • Be responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
  • Develop budget forecasts, conduct analysis in support of identifying budget variances, and develop solutions to address.
  • Develop new and ad-hoc reports, summarize findings and recommendations, and provide business insight.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

  • 6 years of related experience or equivalent.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office environment with extensive use of personal computers, telephone conversations, conference calls, and in-person meetings.

Important Notes

  • Only submit candidates who reside locally in the service territory and near the work location Oakland GO.
  • A client laptop will be provided; a personal/supplier laptop cannot be used. Any additional equipment needed will be provided by the supplier.
  • Personal phone is required (with no reimbursement).
  • Mileage reimbursement will be approved if the candidate is asked to go to any other location besides the Oakland GO; normal commute to Oakland GO is not included.
