Senior Program Manager

Pay Rate: $90-100/hour

Work Mode: Hybrid

Duration: 3 Months

Summary:

• Location: Oakland, CA - 100% Remote Position with Minimum travel
• Open to local and non-local candidates, preference for those in the company service territory

Responsibilities:

• Develop a standardized governance readiness and project quality review process
• Establish review methodologies, governance procedures, scoring criteria, and evaluation reporting standards
• Perform independent reviews of project and program documentation
• Validate and enhance the Project Controls Documentation Review Checklist
• Conduct readiness reviews prior to governance review board submissions
• Prepare quality assessment summaries and findings for leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Advanced knowledge of Project or Program Management
• PMI Certification
• Experience reviewing project controls deliverables and governance documentation
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Board-level or executive-level capital project governance
• Expert knowledge of project controls disciplines, including scheduling, cost management, risk management, and more
• Experience performing project health assessments, audits, and quality assurance reviews
• Utility industry experience strongly preferred
