Description

Payrate: $47.00 - $47.00/hr.
 
Summary:
The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product.
 
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate the value of a product technology to advance customers' objectives.
  • Provide insight and thought leadership to customers concerning the applicability of highly complex products.
  • Analyze and apply industry, competition, and market knowledge to present the positive value of our solutions.
  • Recommend product and service configurations to assist with any system design and integration necessary.
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge within the Dacor Home Appliance and Electronic Products, both Sales, Product & Customer Care Departments.
  • Manage to enhance service expertise by reviewing service contents for products and functions and providing improvements for service contents.
  • Development, preparation, and critical review of technical reports, technical documents, test procedures, user guides, installation, and maintenance manuals.
  • Analyze current STG status to determine the extent of missing contents for Dacor.
  • Collaborate with PI Team to add missing models to STG.
  • Review Service & Training Manuals and create content for new models prior to launch.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Home Appliance experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Engineering or Technical Field / Home Appliance field.
  • MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
 
Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Korean Bilingual preferred - not required.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $47.00 - $47.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
