Senior Product Manager, Electrical Products, Data Center Power
Position Summary
This role requires direct Product Management experience on the manufacturing/supplier side, specifically selling engineered electrical/power products into the data center market. Candidates without this exact background will not be considered.
Electroswitch supplies switching, monitoring, and control equipment into data center applications. We need someone who already understands this market—its customers, applications, and ecosystem—not someone with a broader industrial/power background, and not someone who has simply worked in or supported a data center environment.
This senior, strategic role reports to the VP and owns the full product lifecycle, from new product development through global market expansion and acquired product integration.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the multi-year technical and commercial roadmap for assigned product lines, aligned with data center market demands.
• Conduct market research specific to data center power infrastructure, including emerging trends in medium voltage distribution, switching, and monitoring.
• Lead technical and operational integration of acquired products into existing portfolios.
• Use ERP/CRM data to analyze product performance, pricing, channel effectiveness, and new market entry opportunities.
• Develop and maintain pricing models to optimize margins across data center and adjacent markets.
• Author technical briefs and white papers; present to customers and industry partners.
• Travel ~25% to visit customers, sales representatives, and assess market opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Required: Direct Product Management experience on the manufacturing/supplier side, supplying electrical/power products into data center applications.
• Technical bachelor's degree + 7+ years relevant experience; MBA preferred.
• Strong technical background in electromechanical components, meters, and energy distribution products.
• Advanced ERP/CRM proficiency (Infor Syteline a plus); strong data analysis and modeling skills.
• Excellent written communication for technical documentation and white papers.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Combination of manufacturing and office; not remote.
• Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–4:45 PM, Friday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM.
