Senior Technical Product Manager – Vertical Conveyance
Our client is looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of advanced automation solutions that transform how products move through complex logistics and material handling environments. This role focuses on the design, standardization, and evolution of vertical conveyance systems—including chutes, spiral conveyors, lifts, and stackers—within large-scale fulfillment and distribution operations.
As the product owner for vertical conveyance, you will define the vision, roadmap, and performance standards for a critical suite of technologies. You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering and business, driving innovation while ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with operational goals.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, influence system design, and deliver high-impact automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for vertical conveyance systems, including requirements and integration standards
- Serve as a technical expert on lifts, spirals, chutes, and related technologies
- Lead product development, including research, design documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
- Drive alignment across teams, communicating technical concepts and influencing stakeholders
- Solve complex system challenges, developing scalable, high-impact solutions
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept through deployment and continuous improvement
- Ensure successful implementation, improving reliability, scalability, and deployment outcomes
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
- Experience in product or program management
- Strong technical communication and analytical skills
- Background in automation, robotics, or hardware-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with material handling technologies
- 5+ years in technical product or program management
- Proven cross-functional product development experience
- Familiarity with distributed systems, AI/ML, or optimization strategies
Base salary is DOE $130k-$190k
