We are hiring a Senior Product Manager, Warehouse Solutions to join our Operator Experience team. Reporting to the VP of Product for Operator Experience, this individual contributor role will own the product strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day product leadership for Level, our warehouse management and purchasing platform, and Lightspeed, our pick-to-light warehouse solution. The role will also help shape Lightspeed 2.0, the next generation of hardware for picking, in close partnership with the Innovation team.

This is a pivotal time for the portfolio. Over the next twelve months, Level and Lightspeed are expected to migrate into the cloud. The successful candidate will help define and execute those migrations while ensuring that customers can operate effectively across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will connect software, hardware, integrations, and warehouse workflows into products that help unattended retail operators improve fulfillment, inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, and scale.

    Responsibilities

    • Own the warehouse product portfolio: Set and drive the roadmap for Level and Lightspeed, balancing customer needs, business priorities, technical dependencies, operational realities, and long-term platform strategy.
    • Lead cloud migration outcomes: Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Implementation, Support, and customers to define migration priorities, prepare capabilities for cloud delivery, manage hybrid considerations, and support successful customer transitions.
    • Shape next-generation picking hardware: Work with Innovation and Engineering on Lightspeed 2.0 requirements, testing, deployment readiness, field feedback, and product-market fit. Help ensure that hardware and software work together as a reliable solution.
    • Understand the whole system: Develop a strong working understanding of how on-premise applications, cloud services, APIs, integrations, warehouse devices, and customer workflows interact. Identify risks and dependencies early and communicate them clearly.
    • Translate operator needs into products: Spend time with unattended retail operators and warehouse users to understand receiving, purchasing, inventory, picking, fulfillment, replenishment, and exception-handling workflows. Convert those insights into clear product requirements and prioritized outcomes.
    • Lead discovery through delivery: Guide products through research, business cases, requirements, design, development, testing, launch, training, and continuous improvement. Maintain clear documentation and decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Measure product performance: Define and monitor meaningful KPIs such as adoption, migration progress, uptime, pick accuracy, order cycle time, inventory accuracy, implementation effort, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
    • Partner across the business: Collaborate across Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, Support, Operations, Finance, and leadership. Provide product knowledge, launch materials, training, and timely communication on product changes.
    • Represent the product externally: Engage directly with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders through discovery sessions, roadmap discussions, onsite visits, implementations, issue resolution, and product demonstrations.
    • Use modern product practices: Apply customer discovery, data-informed prioritization, competitive research, iterative delivery, and practical use of AI tools to improve product management effectiveness.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of products through discovery, delivery, launch, and ongoing improvement.
    • At least one of the following: experience with warehouse management systems, warehouse automation, order fulfillment, purchasing, inventory management, logistics software, or related operational technology.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
    • Experience with SaaS products, APIs, software integrations, and cloud-based product development. Familiarity with on-premise deployments and hybrid architectures is highly desirable.
    • Ability to understand how software, cloud services, on-premise systems, APIs, warehouse equipment, and operational workflows work together, without needing to be an electrical engineer or hands-on software developer.
    • Strong product strategy, roadmap planning, prioritization, requirements definition, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience working with physical products, warehouse automation, electromechanical systems, or connected devices is highly desirable.
    • Working familiarity with sensors, motors, conveyors, wiring, or related mechanical and electromechanical components is a strong plus.
    • Strong customer orientation and experience conducting discovery, presenting to customers, gathering feedback, and supporting implementation or adoption.
    • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
    • A collaborative working style and the ability to build effective relationships across departments, business partners, and customer organizations.
    • Experience in unattended retail, vending, foodservice, distribution, or warehouse operations is helpful but not required.
