We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented manufacturer serving industrial and OEM markets to identify a Product Manager. This role will lead product planning, lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategy across a broad portfolio of injection molding products.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the realities of tooling, materials, manufacturing constraints, and customer-driven design, not a purely software or consumer-goods product background.
Key Responsibilities
Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple product lines
Lead and develop a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers
Manage full product lifecycle management (PLCM) from concept through end-of-life
Translate customer, market, and sales input into clear, actionable product requirements
Partner closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure products are feasible, competitive, and profitable
Conduct market and competitive analysis within injection molding and plastics markets
Develop and manage beta programs, pilots, and product validation efforts
Set pricing strategies aligned with margin, revenue, and asset utilization goals
Deliver annual product line revenue, profitability, and asset plans
Collaborate with Marketing on new product launches, positioning, and messaging
Train sales and customer-facing teams on product features, applications, and value propositions
Support trade shows, key customer visits, and periodic travel to manufacturing and distribution locations
Contribute to product data governance including PIM systems, ERP integration, e-commerce, and product catalogs
Required Background & Experience
Direct experience with injection molding is required; This may include molded components, tooling-driven products, resins/materials, or plastics manufacturing environments
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
3–5+ years of progressive experience in product management within a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing
Strong understanding of cost drivers, margins, tooling considerations, and manufacturing scalability
Experience supporting B2B customers and industrial or OEM markets
Familiarity with ERP systems, PIM platforms, and Microsoft Office tools
