Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management with a focus on enterprise software, cloud computing, or infrastructure.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience defining and launching products, systems, or processes related to operations or revenue life-cycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in leading the end-to-end product life cycle for revenue systems, from ideation through development, launch, and iteration.
  • Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Understanding of business processes related to Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations, particularly within Lead-to-Cash or Revenue Life Cycle domains.
  • Ability to drive automation and optimization of all Revenue Life Cycle Management processes, reducing friction and improving accuracy, speed, and scale.

As a Senior Product Manager role on the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) team, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for all products, systems, and processes designed to generate, capture, and recognize revenue for the Google Distributed Cloud Edge product portfolio. You will own the end-to-end Revenue Life Cycle Management strategy, from influencing Go-to-Market (GTM) programs and pipeline generation, through pricing and packaging, acceleration of agreement making and transparent customer billing.You will work at the critical intersection of Product, Marketing, GTM and Sales, Legal, UX, Finance, and Engineering teams to build and optimize a seamless, scalable, and automated revenue life cycle. Your leadership will directly impact GDC's revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer/partner experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the comprehensive product goal and roadmap for the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Connected Revenue Life Cycle, encompassing GTM program execution, pipeline enablement, and pricing/packaging strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end technical life cycle of revenue systems, delivering solutions for complex agreement-making, including cost per query, contract management, billing, and automated revenue recognition enablement.
  • Architect and implement automation strategies for all Revenue Lifecycle Management processes to minimize friction and improve system accuracy, speed, and operational scale.
  • Oversee critical technical integrations between GDC Revenue systems and major platforms, specifically Salesforce, Cost Per Query, Marketplace, and Google Cloud Billing infrastructure (Argentum).
  • Establish data-driven Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance frameworks to monitor and optimize the effectiveness of commercial processes and technical system performance across the portfolio.
