Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Finance
Location: Seattle, WA 98101 (Hybrid - 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)
Duration: 06-month contract (with possible extension and Conversion Possibility: Yes) 
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, (40 hours/week) 8 AM–5 PM PST
Start Date: Targeting Sep 2026
Pay Rate: $63.38/hr - $77.46/hr on W2

Job description:
  • The Senior Product Manager is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, responsible for supporting enterprise data and analytics for Finance and key strategic business stakeholders. This role owns the Finance domain’s Business Ready Dataset (BRD) roadmap, partnering with Finance leadership, Engineering, and business partners to deliver trusted, certified data products that Finance teams can act on with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Finance domain Business Ready Dataset (BRD) roadmap within Nordstrom’s enterprise data and analytics space, prioritizing certified datasets that unlock self-service analytics for Finance stakeholders.
  • Lead the migration of legacy Finance reporting to a modern, governed self-service BI platform, articulating value to Finance leadership and securing executive alignment.
  • Develop the roadmap and group it into releasable, domain-specific features, sequencing dataset certification and partnering with stakeholders on dashboard migration.
  • Lead discovery with Finance business partners and analysts to identify certified metric definitions and synthesize findings into BRD requirements.
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Analytics Enablement teams to keep delivery unblocked across dependencies.
  • Drive progress against program-level KPIs for the Finance domain, including:
  • Dataset certification rate
  • Self-service adoption
  • Retired legacy reports
  • Proactively manage risks and communicate impact to stakeholders.
  • Represent the Finance domain in enterprise program governance and workstream rhythms, ensuring cross-domain alignment on standards and timelines.
  • Own business requirements gathering and acceptance criteria, partnering with key business and engineering stakeholders to drive cross-functional understanding and alignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / BigQuery experience.
  • Looker / LookML experience.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management, including experience with financial or enterprise planning data products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a data or analytics product through a platform migration.
  • Practical experience with Oracle, Google Cloud Platform, and Looker, or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Proficient in data analysis and defining performance/adoption metrics for a data product.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to Finance executive stakeholders.
