  • Fluent English, spoken and written, is mandatory.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years of product management, global marketing, upstream marketing, or strategic marketing experience, preferably from medical devices, MedTech, diagnostics, life sciences, laboratory equipment, capital equipment, or other technically complex healthcare industries.
  • Experience with capital equipment, hardware/software-enabled products, connected devices, digital solutions, fertility, IVF, or laboratory workflows is considered a key advantage.
  • Experience developing global product, portfolio, or category strategies is a strong advantage.
  • Experience leading new product launches, including launch strategy, commercial readiness, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking, is a strong advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Science.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $140,000-165,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.

Job Summary:

As Senior Global Product Manager, IVF Equipment, you are accountable for both on-market portfolio performance and future portfolio development for defined product categories within the IVF Equipment portfolio.

Your responsibilities include product category strategy, product lifecycle management, product positioning, pricing strategy, competitive intelligence, customer insight, product requirements, launch strategy, commercial readiness, and input into new product innovation projects.

This is a strategically important global role where you will use your marketing toolkit, strong business acumen, customer insight skills, and technical curiosity to ensure CooperSurgical maintains a competitive IVF Equipment offering that maximizes both short-term and long-term profitable growth.

A key focus of the role will be strengthening the link between market insight, customer needs, product requirements, and successful commercialization. You will lead Voice-of-Customer activities, define customer, user and business needs, develop business cases, shape product and portfolio roadmaps, and partner closely with R&D, PMO, Regulatory, Quality, Service, Operations, Business Development, and global commercial teams.

You will report to the Global Product Director, IVF Equipment. You will work in a dynamic global environment with multiple activities running in parallel.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Lead category strategy, portfolio roadmap development, and lifecycle planning for assigned IVF Equipment categories, using customer insight, regional feedback, competitive intelligence, installed-base data, and business performance to guide product and portfolio decisions.
  • Define user needs, product requirements, value propositions, and business cases for new product innovation and lifecycle management projects. Partner with R&D, PMO, Regulatory, Quality, Service, Pricing, Finance, Business Development, and commercial teams to ensure product management input is clear, timely, and aligned with portfolio strategy.
  • Lead global launch strategy and execution, including positioning, go-to-market planning, commercial readiness, sales enablement, launch metrics, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of portfolio performance, including revenue, margin, market share, pricing, customer feedback, service considerations, and regional commercial needs.
  • Develop and execute product category growth strategies across the full product lifecycle, identifying opportunities to improve customer adoption, retention, competitive positioning, portfolio performance, and long-term profitable growth.
  • Own global pricing strategy for assigned product categories, including annual price optimization, price positioning, and pricing input for new product launches.
  • Drive lifecycle management activities, including portfolio optimization, rationalization, replacement opportunities, and product performance improvements.
  • Support cross-portfolio growth initiatives where relevant, including installed-base growth, replacement strategies, bundling, lab-build solutions, service-related offerings, and commercial excellence projects.
