About Us:

Foodsmart is the leading Foodcare platform in the U.S., built to deliver nutrition-driven healthcare at scale. Powered by a national network of Registered Dietitians, Foodsmart combines personalized clinical nutrition care, behavior change tools, and food benefits to improve member health outcomes while lowering healthcare costs.

Our platform is designed to foster healthier food choices, drive lasting behavior change, and deliver sustainable health outcomes. Through our highly personalized, digital platform, we guide more than 3 million members-including those in employer-sponsored health plans, regional and national Medicaid managed care organizations, Medicare Advantage plans, and commercial insurers-on a tailored journey to eating well while saving time and money.

Foodsmart seamlessly integrates dietary assessments and nutrition counseling with online food ordering and cost-effective meal planning for the entire family, optimizing ingredients both at home and on the go. We partner with national and regional retailers across the U.S., many of whom accept SNAP/EBT, making healthier food more accessible. Additionally, we assist members with SNAP enrollment and management, providing tangible access to nutritious food. In 2024, Foodsmart secured a $200 million investment from TPG's Rise Fund, which supports entrepreneurs dedicated to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. This investment helps us expand our reach, particularly to low-income workers who are disproportionately affected by diet-related diseases.

At Foodsmart, our mission is to make nutritious food accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of economic status. We are committed to a set of core values that shape our culture and work environment:

Customer First - You start with the member and work backwards.

Make It Happen - You act with urgency, use data, and hold high standards.

One Team - You collaborate with respect and commit as a group.

Working at Foodsmart means being part of a team that is passionate, supportive, and driven by a shared purpose. Join us in transforming the way people access and enjoy healthy food.

About the Role:

We''re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the systems and capabilities that ensure Foodsmart delivers high-quality, safe, and efficient care at scale. This role sits at the heart of our clinical operations - owning the tools, workflows, and guardrails that allow our Registered Dietitians to do their best work, while ensuring the integrity and safety of every member interaction across the platform.

Your primary customers are the clinical team, care operations, and the Registered Dietitians delivering care every day - but this isn''t a purely internal role. The work you do shapes what members experience: safer care delivery, higher-quality RD interactions, and a clinical model that can scale without cutting corners. You''ll work closely with Clinical Operations, Engineering, and Data to eliminate friction in RD workflows, build & embed AI-assisted tooling thoughtfully, and build the safety mechanisms that allow Foodsmart to scale its clinical model without sacrificing quality.

This role is ideal for a product manager who finds deep satisfaction in scaling impact by making expert users more effective and brings a structured, evidence-informed approach to clinical tooling. Especially in AI-assisted care and clinical safety, the questions are genuinely hard and the stakes are real. You don''t need to be a clinician - but you need to listen like one.

You will:

Clinical Tooling & Workflow Ownership

  • Own the roadmap for the Clinical Quality & Safety pod with a clear mandate: make Foodsmart''s RD workforce more effective, raise the quality bar of care delivery, and build the safety infrastructure that lets the clinical model scale
  • Work closely with Clinical Operations to deeply understand RD workflows, identify friction points, and translate them into prioritized product improvements
  • Partner with Engineering and Data to define, build, and iterate on AI-assisted clinical tools
  • Define and track quality and efficiency metrics: session completion rates, RD time-on-task, documentation accuracy, and other indicators of clinical operational health

Safety & Quality Systems

  • Own the product-side of Foodsmart''s clinical safety framework - the guardrails, escalation pathways, and quality checks embedded in the platform that protect members and support clinical judgment
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements and clinical standards into scalable product features
  • Build and maintain feedback loops that surface safety signals from care delivery into the product roadmap - ensuring issues are caught, addressed, and prevented systemically

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Data and Engineering to build instrumentation and measurement frameworks that track clinical quality outcomes across the member journey
  • Collaborate with adjacent pods to ensure clinical quality considerations are embedded in new member and client experiences

You are:

  • Deeply empathetic to clinicians and members - you understand that RDs are experts, not just users, and you build tools that respect their clinical judgment while reducing administrative burden
  • Structured and evidence-informed - you bring rigor to ambiguous clinical problems and use data to validate hypotheses
  • Comfortable at the intersection of product and clinical operations - you can hold a conversation with a dietitian, a compliance officer, and an engineer on the same day
  • Execution-oriented with a bias toward simplicity - you know that in clinical contexts, a clean, reliable tool beats a feature-rich one that introduces risk
  • A clear communicator who can translate clinical complexity into crisp product requirements and explain product decisions back to clinical stakeholders

You have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with time spent on internal tooling, clinical operations, or workflow-oriented products
  • Experience owning a product area end-to-end with meaningful autonomy - from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Comfort working on AI-assisted features or workflow automation - you don''t need to be an ML engineer, but you need to be a thoughtful product owner in this space
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to guide product decisions and measure clinical or operational outcomes
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery in fast-paced environments
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience in digital health, telehealth, clinical workflow tools, or care delivery platforms
  • Exposure to healthcare compliance, clinical quality frameworks, or patient safety standards
  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, or value-based care contexts
