    Job Description Senior Product Engineer

    We are looking for a dynamic and innovative experienced Sr. Product Engineer who will be responsible for leading and executing the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing products within the product engineering organization. This role will lead systematic problem-solving efforts for continuous improvement, quality improvement, mid-size engineering projects, and day-to-day support for Operations and the Business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee product schedules and ensure BOM accuracy, drawing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and design intent.
    • Lead engineering activities to maintain and sustain existing product families.
    • Ensure compliance with UL, NSF, DOE, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Drive quality investigations and continuous improvement projects.
    • Lead Engineering-to-Order (ETO) projects, data analysis, and engineering execution.
    • Conduct audits to ensure quality and accuracy of BOMs and drawings.
    • Provide technical support to manufacturing, customers, and field operations.
    • Review and support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
    • Lead and coordinate engineers, technicians, and project teams.
    • Support prototyping, testing plans (DVP), FMEA development, and design reviews.
    • Manage project budgets and capital expenditure plans.
    • Collaborate with Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 7 10 years of experience in product design, CAD modeling, and GD&T.
    • 7 10 years of experience with PLM and BOM configuration (SolidWorks, AS400, Oracle preferred).
    • 5+ years of project management, technical leadership, or team leadership experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Lean/Six Sigma Certification.
    • INCOSE Systems Engineering Certification.
    • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.

    Desired Skills:

    • SolidWorks and Enovia expertise.
    • Mechanical design, tooling design, heat transfer, and materials engineering.
    • Root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (A3, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Lean, Six Sigma).
    • Product architecture, systems engineering, and complexity reduction.
    • Project management and cross-functional leadership.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
