Senior Product Designer

BlueWave is hiring a Senior Product Designer for an entertainment client based in Burbank, California. As Senior Product Designer, you will lead the end-to-end design of complex internal enterprise products, from user discovery and product strategy through implementation. You will partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to create intuitive, scalable, and accessible user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process across multiple product areas, from discovery through delivery
• Conduct user interviews and discovery sessions to understand workflows, needs, and pain points
• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes in Figma
• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into effective design solutions
• Partner with product managers and engineers to define product direction and user experience strategy
• Manage multiple initiatives while maintaining visibility into priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Collaborate with engineering throughout implementation to maintain design quality
• Present design concepts, research insights, recommendations, and trade-offs to stakeholders and executives
• Contribute to design systems, reusable patterns, accessibility standards, and product design best practices
• Participate in design critiques, workshops, planning sessions, and product reviews

Requirements

• Strong experience designing complex enterprise products or highly integrated platforms
• Demonstrated ownership of products from initial concept through implementation, including zero-to-one initiatives
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, prototyping, and design systems
• Strong product thinking, user experience, user interface, interaction design, and information architecture skills
• Experience conducting user research, discovery sessions, and feedback interviews
• Ability to independently manage priorities and deliver high-quality work across multiple initiatives
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain design decisions to executives and non-design stakeholders
• Portfolio link or PDF included with the résumé, demonstrating product strategy, complex enterprise work, and polished visual design
• Experience with media, entertainment, or creative production workflows is preferred
• Familiarity with AI-assisted product development tools is preferred; coding experience is not required

Employment Type: Two-year contract, onsite in Burbank, California, with potential for full-time conversion
