Senior Product Applications Engineer Job Description
The Applications Engineer will work with marketing and sales managers for successful sales completion via direct customer support. This also includes the pre-sales activities such as data collection for sales and customer training.
The ideal candidate is an inventive problem solver that is capable of working through tough technical challenges and implement viable solutions.
The key responsibilities of this field application engineer comprise:
• Functions as the primary support point of contact for sales engineers and customers. • Provide sales engineers and customers with product training of the companys design tools, such as data sheets, samples, demo boards, application notes, etc. • Provide customers with design assistance. • Review reports, perform engineering analysis, and study customer systems to develop a full understanding of the customers applications and product architecture. • Able to understand customer needs and work with the other company colleagues to develop competitive and creative technical solutions. • Participate in seminars, trade shows, conferences, meetings, and training videos for promoting the devised application engineering products. • Manage multiple projects and follow up on various tasks to ensure timely support and execution. • Ensure clear and accurate external and internal reporting and communication.
