Senior Procurement Manager - Capital Projects

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to support large-scale industrial capital projects for a leading technology organization. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, negotiating complex contracts, mitigating commercial risks, and driving procurement execution across high-value project portfolios.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience supporting construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, industrial, data center, or other capital project environments. Success in this role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead procurement activities from project inception through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement strategy and execution for major capital construction and industrial projects.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support project objectives, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage competitive bidding processes, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP development and evaluation.
  • Negotiate complex contracts, commercial terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers and contractors.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and supply chain risks.
  • Partner with engineering, construction, project controls, finance, and executive stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Manage vendor qualification, supplier performance, and contract administration activities.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality, schedule, and project requirements are achieved.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor"s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of procurement experience in capital projects, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
  • Proven experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for high-value projects.
  • Strong experience with supplier management, vendor qualification, and procurement governance.
  • Experience supporting large-scale industrial, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, semiconductor, or data center projects.
  • Professional affiliation or certification such as RICS, AACE, MCIPS, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPC or EPCM project experience.
  • Data center construction or mission-critical facility experience.
  • Experience supporting project controls, cost management, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
  • Demonstrated success managing procurement activities for multi-million-dollar construction and industrial project portfolios.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $87.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
