Description

  • Provide daily production support by taking a hands-on approach evaluating defects, working with operators and troubleshooting machines
  • Train operators and write work instructions to document key process steps
  • Support processes including eutectic die attach, wire bonding, epoxy attach, gap welding and PWB surface mount processes
  • Improve processes based on statistical analysis of data and by applying process controls
  • Track metrics and setup systems to ensure continual quality improvements
  • Improve factory layout to optimize throughput and improve efficiency and quality

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mechanical, aerospace, material science, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience or demonstrate the ability to make improvements to a manufacturing process
  • Ability to multitask, keep track and bring projects to closure
  • Must show definite interest and desire to work on process problems and improvements in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have aptitude for running scientific experiments with the use of DOE and other statistical techniques
  • Ability and desire to work hands-on in a team environment is necessary
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

WE VALUE:

  • 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 7+ years comprehensive experience with automation equipment, equipment programing, running scientific experiments with the use of DOE and other statistical techniques
  • 7+ years working in a dynamic & cross functional team environment and demonstrating technical leadership
  • 7+ years of working experience with pick and place machines, epoxy dispensers, or wire bonding machines
  • 7+ years of recent hands on and technical experience with sourcing, selecting, and qualifying automation equipment
  • Must have good understanding of common assembly materials (e.g., epoxy, fine wires, mechanical assembly tools)
  • Must have great communication skills are required to work with a wide variety of people, including design engineers, project engineers, and manufacturing personnel

The annual base salary range for this position is $111,320 - $139,150. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
