Senior Process Engineer

Join our client's team to spearhead innovative manufacturing processes that enhance efficiency and performance. This role involves leading process and equipment improvements, managing engineering teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to overcome technical challenges.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for advancing manufacturing processes and ensuring the successful implementation of equipment or process changes.

• Lead improvement projects to achieve manufacturing metrics.
• Manage and guide a team of engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and develop robust processes.
• Initiate and lead equipment or process changes using established procedures.
• Develop and document processes for optimal product performance.
• Conduct in-depth investigations into process issues.
• Evaluate new equipment proposals according to standards.
• Define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Lead local task forces and project teams.
• Influence decisions up to the director level globally.
• Manage technical staff up to senior engineer level.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering or Physical Science, or equivalent.
• Over 8 years of process engineering and/or R&D experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis methods and tools; experience with JMP or Minitab.
• Experience in an advanced manufacturing or technology development setting.
• Familiarity with materials analysis methods for troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead small technical teams, including goal setting and performance management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering techniques.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and SPC tools.
• Proficient in Six Sigma and quality improvement skills.
• Excellent data analysis and collection skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and statistical software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Expertise in driving projects through change management systems.
• Expertise in engineering test/experimental design and result interpretation.
