SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

The Senior Process Engineer will work on improving existing processes to improve quality and reduce waste, identify new equipment or technologies to support or improve existing products, and assist Marketing team in new product research and development as needed, related to processing equipment. Rapidly growing world-class manufacturer providing high-quality, effective products for health and wellness is in search of a Senior Process Engineer responsible for all engineering tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and validation activities. The Senior Process Engineer will work on improving existing processes to improve quality and reduce waste, identify new equipment or technologies to support or improve existing products, and assist Marketing team in new product research and development as needed, related to processing equipment. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. Salary depends on experience. Responsibilities:
-Process Improvements and New Technology introduction: Work with department management to define and analyze opportunities to improve operations with process modifications or new technology. Lead the projects from justification through vendor selection, installation, start-up, and operator training.
-Manufacturing improvements: Yield improvements and operational constraint reductions to improve efficiency and product quality for converting, filling and packaging lines.
-Product Compounding and Filling: Support product compounding activities by outlining, translating and implementing the required processes. Work with internal and external partners to outline. Support product filling activities by outlining, translating and implementing the required process.
