Senior Process Engineer – Downstream

Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness at a new greenfield biologics drug substance facility supporting 15,000-liter mammalian cell culture operations. Downstream purification experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as system owner for UF/DF, chromatography, buffer systems, and assigned process areas.

• Coordinate vendors and support FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning readiness.

• Review technical documents, drawings, specifications, and qualification protocols.

• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues during facility startup.

• Collaborate with Operations, Validation, Engineering, and Quality to meet project milestones.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of biopharma or biotech manufacturing engineering experience.

• Strong downstream purification experience preferred; upstream mammalian cell culture experience is beneficial.

• Experience with large-scale biologics facilities, greenfield projects, or equipment system ownership.

• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced construction and startup environment.
